Aluminium Coated Fiberglass Sleeve / Heat Reflecting Sleeve is constructed from a high-temperature fine braided fiberglass yarn, which is then coated with highly-reflective aluminium foil. The sleeve reflects more than 90% of the radiant heat that hits its surface, keeping the underlying cables, hoses and wires cool. The aluminium layer does not delaminate from the fiberglass substrate, even under the most extreme heat conditions. It is the perfect option for protecting cables and hoses against radiant heat from infrared sources such as super-hot metal slabs, proximity to liquid metal, open flame/plasma or engine exhaust manifolds.
